On his arrival, the RCC was welcomed by the University Vice Chancellor Dr. Rose Clarke Nanyonga together with members of the Senior Management Team(SMT). He was ushered into the boardroom where he had an interactive discussion with SMT members.

“Our vision is to be a values based university that inspires leadership, critical thinking, innovation and outstanding academic training that transforms communities,” Dr. Nanyonga elaborated.

One of the key highlights to note from this discussion was the emphasis he put on the importance of security at CIU. He greatly appreciated the contribution of this establishment to the surrounding areas like Kisugu and Namuwongo. The RCC was afterwards given a tour around the University premises.
